Sarnoff is committed to quality of service and we strive for continuous and ongoing improvement across the entire organization. Effective quality management is essential to our business and we take steps to illustrate this dedication to every client. Listed below are several of Sarnoff’s quality systems and certifications.
ISO 9001-2000
Sarnoff achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification in July 2008, confirming that the company has established and applied a quality management system for the design and manufacturing of vision technologies, communications and networking, sensing technologies, imaging systems, semiconductor device technologies, integrated circuit emulation and optoelectronics. This certification demonstrates Sarnoff’s commitment to quality-of-service standards, illustrated by our adherence to documented processes and procedures that ensure continued and ongoing improvements in customer support.
DSCC: MIL-PRF 38535 Class Q
In 1996, the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) awarded Sarnoff with MIL-PRF- 38535 Class Q Custom Microcircuit Certification. Sarnoff is one of only 24 organizations to achieve this certification though our demonstration of a documented and controlled system for the design, manufacture, and testing of microcircuits. Adhering to MIL-PRF-38535 requirements ensures the integrity of the system, and the delivery of a highly reliable microcircuit that will work to specifications in rugged military environments. This includes complete traceability, total compliance with customer procurement requirements, and delivery with a certificate of conformance.
Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), Version 1.2
The Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) is a process improvement approach employed by Sarnoff. CMMI consists of best practices that address the development and maintenance of products and services, covering the product lifecycle from conception through delivery and maintenance. The CMMI framework employed by Sarnoff sets process improvement objectives and procedures in the fields of Systems Engineering, Software Engineering and Integrated Product and Process Development. Sarnoff expects Level 2 compliance by the end of 2008.
