Intelligence tool uses GIS software to help analysts scrutinize motion imagery as never before
PRINCETON, NJ – November 8, 2006 – Sarnoff Corporation, a leading
provider of aerial video exploitation products, will debut its latest
tool, VideoQuest™, at GEOINT 2006 Symposium, the industry’s premier
geospatial intelligence event, from November 13 through November 16 in
Orlando, Fla.
The VideoQuest software solution brings together motion imagery from
Pyramid Vision’s TerraSight™ system and commercial off-the-shelf
geospatial information system software. The solution provides
intelligence analysts with the ability to index, search, visualize, and
analyze stored video from UAVs more efficiently and effectively than
their current methods, which includes the time-consuming task of
reviewing hours of video independently.
“VideoQuest helps the analyst search, visualize and analyze UAV
motion imagery,” said Ron Krakower, Sarnoff’s sales director. “It
solves that problem in several ways, most notably by presenting aerial
video as an inlaid data layer in ESRI®’s ArcGIS® with advanced search
and filtering tools—greatly improving visualization of motion imagery
and reducing the time it takes analysts to find the video they need.”
