Ultra-Sense™ is an innovative wafer processing solution that uses silicon-on-insulator (SOI) wafers to provide new capabilities to digital imaging. It is a low-cost, scalable manufacturing solution to produce back-illuminated CCD and CMOS image sensors enabling higher resolution, smaller pixel size, higher quantum efficiency (QE) and improved system performance. It is available for all pixel designs and applications, and allows image sensor designers and manufacturers to maximize their system performance without incurring additional costs.
