Senior Vice President and CFO

Jim Crofton has been CFO of Sarnoff since joining the company in 1999. His current responsibilities include the Finance, Business Planning and Analysis, Accounting, IT, Purchasing and Quality functions.

Mr. Crofton directly manages all of the company’s fiscal planning, cost control, and revenue and expense forecasting activities.

During his tenure at Sarnoff he has also overseen the legal, facilities, and IT departments. He was actively involved in a major transaction involving sale of Sarnoff real estate, and participated in the structuring of a number of new ventures and business relationships with major corporations.

Prior to joining Sarnoff Mr. Crofton held several important financial management positions in the technology sector, including serving as CFO of a small public company. He was involved in finance, marketing, product development and computer systems in both the domestic and international divisions of Unisys, and also worked at Scientific-Atlanta.

Jim Crofton holds a B.S. in mathematics from Michigan State University, and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Michigan.
