What is your focus at Sarnoff?

Development of state-of-the-art vision systems and products to meet customer’s needs. Lead a business unit that develops embedded and platform based vision systems for both custom applications and volume production products. Ensure our business unit is progressing in the correct business and technical direction. Ensure that everyone has an opportunity to grow for themselves and for the company. Also ensure that everyone enjoys coming to Sarnoff to work and has a good time while working hard and productively.

Describe a typical day for you at Sarnoff.

Typically I spend my day doing business development, technical program guidance, strategic planning, proposals, solving problems and just listening to anyone who has an issue or question.

What experience did you have prior to joining Sarnoff?

Prior to Sarnoff I led efforts for the design of custom electronic systems for military applications.

What is your background in academics?

BSEE from Manhattan College and a MSEE from Cal Poly Pomona.

Why did you choose Sarnoff?

I chose to work at Sarnoff after 10 years of working at a large defense company to make a difference. Working at Sarnoff has provided me the opportunity to greatly contribute to technology as well as the company’s success.

What is your proudest professional achievement?

Guiding and paving the path for many new Sarnoff vision-based products through hard work and dedication. Working with Sarnoff’s subsidiary, Pyramid Vision, has provided me with a great level of personal achievement to know our products are providing solutions to our customers they can only find at Sarnoff.
