PRINCETON, NJ (April 9, 2007) — Sarnoff Imaging Systems today announced the appointment of Mr. Michael T. Melle to the position of Director of New Business Development for its Commercial sector.

Prior to joining Sarnoff, Mr. Melle managed the North American sales operations for Basler AG, a manufacturer of Vision systems and components. In this position, he demonstrated leadership in analyzing markets, driving product development and providing managerial oversight throughout the entire sales cycle. His broad knowledge of the Machine Vision market will help Sarnoff expand its reach into the commercial and industrial sector.
Mr. Melle has 20 years of engineering and sales/marketing experience and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
