PRINCETON, N.J.—March 3, 2008—Sarnoff Corporation today announced that Mark A. Clifton has joined the company in the newly created position of Vice President, Products and Services. Clifton will be responsible for overseeing Sarnoff’s new and existing products and services that evolve from Sarnoff’s research and development divisions.

“This important new position reflects Sarnoff’s commitment to transitioning R&D technology to successful finished products for government and commercial use,” said Dr. Don Newsome, Sarnoff’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We are excited to add Mark’s proven leadership to the Sarnoff team as we continue our strong focus on bringing a robust product and services pipeline to the marketplace.”

Clifton joins Sarnoff from DRS Technologies, where he was vice president and general manager of the C3 Systems business unit. In this capacity, he provided business development, advanced technology and program management competencies including border surveillance, command and control (C2) software, military communications, advanced displays, system integration and radar development.

Prior to DRS Technologies, Mr. Clifton served as senior group vice president of Anteon Corporation providing high-tech professional services and highly engineered products. He oversaw the performance of advanced R&D, engineering and systems development that included underwater acoustics, ship signatures, video codecs and ship design for major military, government and system primes. He also held senior management positions at Acoustics and Mechanics, Inc., and Bolt, Berenek and Newman (BBN).

Mr. Clifton holds a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and an M.S. in Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
