SRI specializes in the custom and OEM development of high-performance charged-coupled device (CCD) and complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors. SRI-designed imagers offer advanced capabilities ranging from high quantum efficiency (QE) and high speed to 100% fill factor and back illumination. It is the combination of novel back illumination methods and high-speed sensor circuitry that enables SRI to produce unique sensors for the most difficult applications.
