The VerifIR™ Threat Detection System was named Best in Video Surveillance Advanced Imaging Technologies at the SIA New Product Showcase at ISC West 2011.

The VerifIR stand-off camera system displays real-time visible/IR fused footage to identify and characterize hidden threats in congested areas. Its unique design provides actionable information from multiple sensors while a subject is in motion.

The threat detection system can digitally detect and image hidden threats with its IR capabilities while also imaging details such as the subject’s face, hair, or clothing pattern from distances of 40 yards or more. With additional options such as zoom and remote control, VerifiR is ideal for detecting hidden weapons, IEDs, or other threats in large gatherings, sporting events, and high-profile events.

The New Product Showcase (NPS), sponsored by the Security Industry Association (SIA), is held annually in conjunction with ISC West at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas to recognize the best security product innovations.
